KinPlanner is an app for families that are looking to streamline the duties of family life. At its core, Kinplanner allows you to set chores for multiple family members and receive points for completed chores. If you are a parent or have little ones, you understand that this is no easy chore (Pun Intended.)

With the world we live in, we wanted to build something that was super friendly to use for children and adults alike, provides a enjoyable experience all while taking security seriously. Our design takes ease of use to a whole new level without collecting much information.

We have invested in the research, both personal and professional to make sure that we provide a service that follows many of the current guidelines for parenting, time management, positive reinforcement, friendly competition and of course family chore management. Below is a few services that we provide:

Security:
Our application only needs basic information to provide a full experience. We are defining and challenging the concept that the collection of personal information does mean a better service. We purposely encourage you to have fun with the app and how you interact with it. Our system uses the latest technology in data security, 3 levels of authentication that even a child can use, minimal data collection and our simple, yet very effective user interface our goal is to keep you and your family safe!

Chore Management:
Chores can be controlled by the parents or you can use many of our built-in chores. The chores can be assigned or chosen, and are laid out in a way that makes it easy for kids and adults to pick and choose. All chores are age driven so that the complexity is evenly matched across all age groups and you can also change the chore to award ratio with just a few clicks of a mouse, giving you the control to adjust how much is awarded in special cases.

Award Management:
With each chore or task completed, each family member is awarded points that can later be redeemed for awards. Awards can range from a Movie Dinner all the way up to cash or gift cards, easily controlled by you and chosen by family members. Each cashed in reward is sent to the parents, and will show up for approval and completion so you never again forget what you promised, making you the hero.

Peace of Mind:
If you are the parent of a teenager, you probably know that your child spends a lot of time on their phone, yet they are often shocked that it is a "Phone". KinPlanner offers a simple method of knowing if you child has arrived home or any other location with the "Check-In" feature. While nothing else can compete with the security of a phone call, each time a family member checks in, they receive point(s) and you get a text message that they arrived safe. Giving awards to them and giving you the peace of the mind it really is a win-win situation.

Family Calendar:
Have you forgotten an event, or put it in your calendar only to realize you forgot to tell others in your family about it? Or how about when your kiddos know about an event and forget to tell you? Our family calendar is a small step forward to solve this. Choosing who gets notifications for upcoming events and allowing the entire family to enter events you get one calendar that has it all. Again, providing award points to children for entries, we kept the calendar simple so anybody can use it and start teaching time management while you stay informed.

Family Analytics:
With everything that our app can provide, the most important is probably that you get to see how well your family is doing, as parents ourselves, we know how fast life can change and affect you, small promises can and will be broken and rewarding good behavior can become as erratic as the behavior of a child. Anything that helps us to become more reliable and gives us back time to spend with our family is priceless for the health and future of our loved ones.
